Here we are with the last month of summer (this year is going to fast or is it just me?), hope you are having a great one guys. Finally, summer seems that arrived even in the UK (weird!).
But if you are in some kinda of an amazing island, drinking cocktails next to the beach and living your life the fullest, you might want a list of books that you want to read for this last month.
So I am giving you a list of book that you MUST read, ready?
- I AM THAT GIRL by Alexis Jones: I am not really someone that ever believed in ‘self-helps book’ but this one is not one of them, it seems like but it’s not. IATG is that kind of book that will make question your own life and make you change it in better. Alexis Jones wrote of her own experience and makes you questions about your own ones. This book is kinda like talking to your own BFF about those kinda of thing that you are actually scared to talk about with her. It’s a really amazing book, I’ve read it already twice, I loved it. It’s a great summer book that will make you come back to work with a smile on your face.
ME BEFORE YOU by Jojo Moyes: Lou is just an ordinary girl, nothing seems special about her till she gets fired and she has to find a new job. The Traynors are royalty in that little city where Lou lives. They have a son, Will Traynor, who because of an accident is quadriplegic.
Lou gets a job as a help care of Will.
The relationship, at the beginning, is rocky for the two of them but they get their way to get along and their relationship it gets to friendship and to eventually love.
But it’s not easy for Lou since she has a long relationship with Patrick.
And who Lou gets to know the deepest secret of Will, will she manage to make him change his mind?
SKIP IF YOU DIDN’T READ THE PREVIOUS BOOK!! SPOILER.
AFTER YOU by Jojo Moyes: The continue of Lou story is amazing. I’ve just finished the book and I have to say, I loved it.
Yes, we all hoped that Will would have changed his mind but unfortunately he didn’t.
Lou is grieving, it’s been three years since Will took that awful decision, this changed her life completely and as much as she tried to keep her promise to him, she couldn’t get back on her track. Her fancy clothes were too hard to wear, everything was too much for her.
After an accident, all her life changed completely. Will she manage to overcome her grief and let people into her life again?
HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD by J.K.Rowling
Once again we are back on the best saga ever written. J.K. Rowling decided to publish the script for the play on West End.
Tickets are overpriced (if I have to be honest). But she is been kind enough to publish it for people who doesn’t have the chance to see it.
I don’t know much about the storyline cause I don’t wanna spoil it. I’ve read reviews and they’ve been opposite ones. So I am gonna read it and then let you know.
These are the books, for now, guys.
In case I will get more I will let you know and follow me on twitter cause I will update this post.
Have a good last month of summer,
